National Champions For Packet Tracing

APU Students Aced Competition Organised by Cisco Malaysia

By demonstrating their best at the competition, 2 of our Diploma students, To Yi Min and Johari Idzman bin Dzulkarnain excelled among 103 participating students at the recently concluded National Packet Tracer Challenge, which was organised by Cisco Malaysia. As members of Team “TechPriests”, they emerged as the National Champion of the challenge.

The competition tested the capability of students in scenario-based networking concepts using packet tracers, in which the team had to undergo troubleshooting challenges and compete amongst each other for the highest score. Among all participating teams, Team “TechPriests” aced the competition with an overall score of 97%.

Apart from “TechPriests”, 4 more teams also participated in the challenge, where 3 APU teams were selected for the final round, including “TechPriests”. The team demonstrated amazing strategic thinking, analytical, reasoning, and technical skills at the competition. Under the guidance of their lecturers, Mr. Yogeswaran Nathan, Mr. Joshua Samuel, and Dr. Kamalakannan Machap, the team emerged as the National Champion.

Huge CONGRATULATIONS to Team “TechPriests” and their mentors for the astonishing success!
