Creador and Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) have launched the Creador Scholarship for Excellence & Opportunity, a need-based scholarship programme aimed at helping deserving Malaysian students pursue higher education at APU. 

At the heart of the initiative is a simple belief shared by Creador and APU: a young person’s potential should not be limited by their financial circumstances. 

For many Malaysian families, higher education is an important aspiration, but it can also represent a significant financial commitment. There are talented young people with the ability, determination and ambition to succeed who may not always have the same opportunities available to them. 

The Creador Scholarship was established with this in mind — to help more young Malaysians access a quality education and build a stronger foundation for their future.

A Shared Commitment to Education and Opportunity 

Creador and APU saw an opportunity to make its education more accessible to deserving Malaysian students. Education has long been an important area of focus for Creador. Both parties believe access to a good education can have a lasting impact — opening doors for individuals, creating possibilities for families and, over time, contributing to stronger communities.

“There are many talented young Malaysians who have worked hard, have big aspirations and simply need an opportunity. We started this scholarship because we do not believe financial circumstances should determine how far a young person can go. 

Education can change the course of a person’s life, and often the lives of their families as well. If we are in a position to help create that opportunity for deserving students, we believe it is something worth doing. The scholarship reflects Creador and APU’s shared belief that education is about more than access to the classroom. It is also about giving young people the right environment, experiences and support to discover their strengths and grow with confidence. 

APU aspires to provide its students with the best possible environment to learn and grow — combining a quality education with meaningful opportunities beyond the classroom, from student activities and extracurricular experiences to industry engagement and exposure to different perspectives. 

Through this broader university experience, Creador and APU hope to help scholars develop not only the knowledge and practical skills for their future careers, but also the confidence, relationships and experiences that will stay with them beyond their time at university.

Looking to the Future 

The launch of the Creador Scholarship marks the beginning of what Creador and APU hope will become a meaningful, long-term initiative supporting successive generations of Malaysian students. 

Each scholar’s journey will be different. Some may go on to build careers in technology and innovation, while others may become entrepreneurs, professionals or leaders in their communities. We hope the scholarship gives them a strong foundation to pursue whichever path they choose. 

And perhaps, one day, they too will be in a position to open doors for someone else. 

Eligible Malaysian students, including recent SPM, STPM and UEC graduates, are encouraged to apply.
