Excellence in Mathematics - APU Students Achieved 2nd Runner Up at National Mathematics Competition

One of our students, Wong Kar Fai, excelled at the 12th National Mathematics Competition was that held in UTAR Sungai Long on 17th June 2017. The competition was jointly organized by UTAR Mathematics Society and the Centre of Mathematical Science. 

The competition was divided into three categories, namely Theory of Everything, The Running Maths and The Mathketeers. More than 200 participants from more than 20 schools, colleges and universities around Malaysia took part in this competition.

Our students led by Mr. Saw Looi Beng participated in all the three categories. They all demonstrated their best performance. Wong Kah Fai, our first year student from BSc (Hons) in Actuarial Studies, School of Accounting, Finance and Quantitative Studies (SAFIQS) won the 2nd runner up in The Running Maths category. Well done Kar Fai!
