SoMAD Digital Film Graduate Himavarthininy shines at the international film festival 

With her short film titled “Wolf” which was her Final Year Individual Project under the guidance of Lecturer Mr Aylmer and Mr Leroy, SoMAD Digital Film graduate Himavarthininy Easwaran, made her way to be the “Finalist” in the 4th Dimension International Film Festival 2021, Bali, Indonesia, under the category of First Time Filmmaker Award. 

“Wolf” was one of the seven films that emerged as Finalist among more than 45 films that were submitted to the organising committee.

“Wolf” was oneWolf is a short film inspired by the unsolved murder cases in Malaysia. “This project started with the humble intention of sharing my views on childhood trauma. Taking the approach of ‘never judge a book by its cover’, I have melded and weaved stories together in hopes of enriching the intention of the storytelling while remaining faithful to the theme I set out with,” explained Hima.of the seven films that emerged as Finalist among more than 45 films that were submitted to the organising committee.
