The trip aimed to provide students with insight into Finexus Group’s core business and innovation platform and to highlight job opportunities and the MyXaaS Innovation Platform, a combination of enabling technologies, financial services, and business advisory support.

Ms. Vivian Ng, Manager of the CEO Management Office of Finexus Group, welcomed the team and provided the company's historical background. She explained that the company was founded by six directors who shared a passion for technology and financial services.

Finexus' core business includes RegTech and the MyXaaS Innovation platform. RegTech is an emerging industry that uses technology to help financial institutions comply with regulations, and Finexus is at the forefront of this industry, offering solutions to help banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions comply with regulations and prevent financial crimes. Shared services outsourcing is another area of Finexus' core business, besides providing services such as e-wallets and prepaid cards to its clients.

The MyXaaS Innovation platform is a foundry for businesses that offer SaaS, financial licensing, and infrastructure services. It also offers the potential for startups and researchers to commercialize their academic research projects. The platform offers a wide range of services and partnerships that help startups scale up and grow their business.
