The Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) has once again solidified its position as a leading force in tech-talent development, clinching the prestigious titles of Best Tech University and Best Future Ready University at the PC.Com Awards 2024. This remarkable achievement, following their back-to-back wins in 2023, underscores APU’s unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation of tech-savvy professionals.

These accolades, awarded by PC.Com, Malaysia's leading ICT magazine, were announced at a grand ceremony on July 24, 2024. The event was graced by YB Gobind Singh Deo, Malaysia's Digital Minister, who witnessed APU co-founder and CEO, Datuk Parmjit Singh, accept the awards on behalf of the University.


APU’s Senior Leadership Team and Heads of Schools participated in the grand ceremony at the PC.Com Awards 2024.

Datuk Parmjit was accompanied by APU’s Senior Leadership Team and esteemed Heads of Schools. This recognition comes at a time of continued success for APU, which recently became the first and only Malaysian university to receive accreditation from the UK's Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA). This historic double celebration reinforces APU’s reputation for excellence and rigorous quality assurance in higher education.


The PC.Com Awards 2024 ceremony was preceded by a performance that showcased futuristic elements on stage, creating a heart-pumping atmosphere.

APU’s comprehensive range of technology-infused programmes, including its innovative Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) (Artificial Intelligence) degree, exemplifies its forward-thinking approach to education. Designed to align with global developments and Malaysia’s National AI Roadmap, this programme equips students with the skills needed to thrive in a digitally driven world, further establishing APU as a leader in the field of AI and technology education.

Appointed as a Premier Digital Tech University by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), APU continues to offer a diverse range of technology-focused degree programmes.
