In celebration of World Mental Health Day, the School of Psychology (SoP) at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) held a transformative event on October 14, 2024, under the theme “Mental Health at Work”.
“Nurturing the Right Mindset”, a thought-provoking talk was delivered by guest speaker Dr Diana Jayasauri.
Spearheaded by SoP faculty—including Associate Head Ms Vinorra Shaker, Lecturer Ms Dhevaania C. Gendsen, and Psychology Lab Technician Ms Amirah Husna —the initiative aligned seamlessly with this global campaign, presenting a holistic approach to mental health within the university community.

At the heart of the event were two key highlights: the thought-provoking talk, “Nurturing the Right Mindset”, and the much-anticipated launch of the AP Care App. Dr Diana Jayasauri, an expert in Organisational Change Management, delivered an engaging session that underscored the importance of resilience in tackling life’s challenges. Through her talk, Dr Diana provided practical strategies to support personal well-being, advocating for a culture of understanding and support within academic and professional spheres.
