APU & Partner drive ESG impact through donation of 150 refurbished laptops to three deserving organisations ― the National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM), SK Setapak’s Special Needs Division, and the El-Shaddai Refugee Centre ― demonstrates APU’s and its partners’ commitment to community development through education and technology.

In celebration of a successful five-year partnership, Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) recently hosted a week-long event in collaboration with one of our trusted industry partners.
A major highlight of this event was an inspiring Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiative, where our partner generously donated 150 refurbished laptops to find new homes.
Spearheaded by Industry Liaison Head of Technology, Ts Dr Vinesha Selvarajah and Senior Head School of Technology (SoT), Assoc Prof Dr Thang Ka Fei; the project saw invaluable collaboration with Ms Dhevaania C. Gendsen from the School of Psychology (SoP) and Ms Iman Danish Sha from the School of Foundation (SoF), who worked tirelessly to identify the deserving beneficiaries.
This year, APU proudly selected three impactful organisations to receive the laptops: the National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM), SK Setapak’s Special Needs Division, and the El-Shaddai Refugee Centre.
