Listen Effectively with APLC

As students, listening skills are extremely important, especially when it comes to listening effectively in lectures and seminars. In accordance to this, the Asia Pacific Language Centre (APLC) organised an Effective Listening Workshop on the 4^th of July, to prepare them for future challenges, whether in their studies or in their future career paths.

Around 20 students attended this workshop. During the session, Ms. Jenny Mak, teacher from APLC, has presented the skills and techniques needed to be applied while listening, so that the original meaning and important facts stated by the speaker can be noted effectively. Students were being divided into groups, and therewith they practiced the skills that they have learnt. It was a constructive session, which received overwhelming response and nurtured high level of interactivity among the students.
