The Asia Pacific Language Centre (APLC) was filled with rich aroma of foodstuffs on the beautiful afternoon of 28th August (Thursday), as students from all corners around the world participated in the International Food Festival 2014.
The festival was aimed to encourage cultural exchange among the students at APLC, which were comprised of a large community of international students under the English Language Programme. At the festival, students dressed up in their traditional clothing and served traditional foodstuffs of their country. Staff and students who participated in this event had their taste buds travelled around the world, as the event saw the display of Siamese food, Japanese food, African food, Yemeni food and more.
Apart from the food stalls, the festival also included some stage performances by APLC students and staff. By indulging in the delicious foodstuffs and awesome performances, it is inevitable that visitors had learnt more about different cultures at the event.
