Students Learn to Ace Job Interviews at Mini Career Day

A Mini Career Day took place on Thursday, 26 March 2015 at APU Campus @ TPM. The event, organised by APU Careers Centre, saw the participation of 25 prestigious companies from various industries, such as Interactive Intelligence Malaysia, Jardin Smith International Berhad, Quintiq Sdn Bhd, Tan Chong Motor Holdings and many more.

Throughout the event, current APU students were given an opportunity to visit the booths which were set up in several classrooms, in which they communicated with recruitment executives from the panel of companies to understand about the companies’ background and vacancies available. Several Final Year students from different areas of studies even brought along their resume and were interviewed on-the-spot! 

Apart from exhibition booth displays, throughout the 8 hours of the event, career talks were being held, as representatives from different companies conducted presentations to provide their potential employees – our APU students a better idea of the qualities that they are looking for, the background and culture of their companies, as well as to share several tips and tricks to ace an interview. The talks received an overwhelming response from students, especially when the QnA sessions were conducted.
